Cause these are the sweet days

More of the journey continues... 

After returning from an amazing birthday hideaway in the Cali wilderness, where we actively explored and merged perfectly with our natural surroundings and reconnected with our primal root beings..

 The hoop gypsy sisters returned to Los Angeles, where a proper birthday celebration was had with wine, stars and moonlight on the beach in Santa Monica surrounded by our lovely friends who put us up for most of the nights in LA thus far, Mike Dewitt and Drew Ruselowski, along with two other most  beautiful traveling sisters Katie and Kirsty, and our great new friend Jourdan! Stayed up way past our bedtime but had the most beautiful, magical night. Oh how we appreciate all of the old and new people who are popping into our lives as we travel. Some may even believe it was fate!   FATE: the will or principle or determining cause by which things in general are believed to come to be as they are or events to happen as they do:....DESTINY ??

We then adventured slowly through LA traffic to Pasadena where part of Elise's family owns a chip factory! They make black bean, quinoa, and corn chips that are distributed throughout California! We got an extended tour of the factory and discovered the process behind making and shipping chips from cousin Ricky! 

 


And then.... Awed once again by the mastery of illusionist and magicians at the MAGIC CASTLE!!

The magic castle is the showplace for some of the greatest magicians from around the world! Including our good friend Peter, who has been kind enough to invite us along for the magic two years in a row!

And the president of the magic castle just happens to be Neil Patrick Harris! Who is just as handsome and suave in real life as on television ;) 

And Lastly...We visited the Vasquez rocks with our friends Nick and PJ! The Vasquez are these most beautiful rock formations in northern LA county that look exactly like Pride Rock from the Lion King!! 

Then Carla headed off to visit friends in San Diego for the weekend and Elise remained in Los Angeles for our first separate adventures since we began this journey (besides the long hours alone in our own cars..) However, Carla is returning to Los Angeles tonight for one last hurrah before continuing north to San Francisco! However, the hoop gypsy adventure blog will continue.. Just this time, from two different computers in two different locations so stay tuned for more!!

We have been blessed!! 


For Carla's 24th birthday weekend Adventure we drove north to the Los Padres National forest park and traveled to Reyes camp grounds and had a magical adventure.  We were able to have a camp fire and we got in touch with our hunter/gatherer sides and we collected fire wood, pine needles, acorns and rocks!  

we also found these beautiful grey and orange Manzanita trees! they were magical and we meditated in a grove of them. 



We have been posting up in Santa Monica with our amazing friends Mike and Rizzo! Rizzo is a good friend from Camp Michigania Staff Family. he was a Ropes staff, a very very grrreat example of a trueblue bloke!  And mike has been so much fun and a great host! tonight he cooked up DELISH dish of good ole chicken and mashed potatoes. YUM!

So many adventures! Effortlessly we gain speed as we treck closer and closer towards the ultimate reason for westward travels...

We have been blessed to meet many wonderful souls along our travels that have clearly revealed to us that you can do what you love and love what you do.  Inspiring to remember that we are on this journey to pursue what truly makes us happy.  There are no more boundaries to this wonderful life if you live with intent and with passion in every moment. We are human BEINGS, not human DOINGS! It's so simple..BE happy and positive in the present moment that lies before you.

All play important roles in balancing the whole self within you.  Ultimate Pure Joy.

Hula hooping allows for each of these areas to be practiced and balanced each day.  A meditation of active play.  Being on the road has given us plenty of time to reflect, and reconnect with an inner imagination that reminds us to view the world as our playground! Each person we pass is just another potential friend. Each object we touch can be manipulated. Each moment we walk, we are dancing on a stage. Each time we talk we are performing for a room full of people.  Each time we listen, we are gaining valuable knowledge from a wise mentor.  A child's perspective in an adults world..

This weekend we were blessed with a beautiful cabin retreat in the lovely Laurel Canyon. Hollywood Hills baby! 


We are house sitting for a dear friend, Trevor and his lovely Life Lady  Molly and their wonderfully bright, cheery darling boy delight, Woody. We would like to express our gratitude and adoration for the generosity and kindness this family has showed us by welcoming us into their magical home. *~*Thank you*~*

WOW what an adventure we have been on! Finally reconnected with the internet after some time.. lots to come in the following days, but we have safely made it to destination point Elise: Los Angeles, CALI


There is a special feeling that comes with approaching the Horizon of the Adventure Destination. It starts way low and radiates to the zenith of excitement, accomplishment and Gratitude. 


We have arrived in CALIFORNIA!!!!! 




We have had an AMAZING adventure, and we have a lot of catching up to do. We will be updating posts about the adventures we had in New Mexico, Arizona,  VEGAS !!!

The magic continues

Every moment is full of adventure and brimming with bliss. This trip has been working out in magical ways that seem to reconfirm the knowledge that there is something out there looking out for our best interest and assisting in dream goal accomplishment manifestation. 


We have had such a blast in Colorado. 


Yesterday my cousin Bob Yates took us out to Glen Eyrie for a private hike and tour of the grounds. we were able to go into the castle and we saw big horn mountain sheep!  We made it all the way to the top and found our way back down again. 


Then Carla and I met up with a community of spinners and toy players in Manitou Springs. It is amazing to me that anywhere in the world, if you check out the parks before sunset, it is likely you will find someone else spinning or playing with flo toys doing that circus thing that I adore so very much. 


Today we are hitting that open road again, Destination Santa Fe New Mexico. We are going to make a stop at Bishops castle along the way. should be lots of fun. f

Just want to put it out there again, that We both  have so much love and gratitude for everyone who is supporting this journey and making it the adventure of a life time.
