Squoop!
Elise lorraine Edson has been a pioneer in the development of Shaping. SHAPES!
After spending years exploring the circle, Elise decided to look at things from a new angle. Its Hoop to be square!
In July, 2012, Elise created two mega large squares. Which the Hoop Gypsy Sisters used in a performance at the Beaver Island Music Festival. After this event she made some changes to the design and size.
Square hoops, or "Squoops" made their debut in Black Rock City, on the Playa of Burning Man Fertility, 2012.
During September, the month after Burning Man, Elise began to explore new shape possibilities. Thus the creation of 4 mini squares, (sized to fit inside of the big squares) and soon there after Triangles were born!
With all of these new shapes, taped in white (prototypes) Elise began to travel with the Synchroblissity Shape Circus! Teaching workshops, hosting projects, setting intention and granting wishes.
"I am thrilled with the progression of discovery!"
Shapes open new avenues for applications of flow and technical spinning and object manipulation and isolation techniques.
