We arrived in Colorado springs Sunday eveningOur lovely hostess Alex Cooperstock took us into her beautiful home and out to indian food dinner, Gluten free crepes for breakfast and showed us some beautiful sights in the Garden of the Gods in Manitou Springs. 

These boys began playing guitar right before sunset.
They played beautiful music, singing praise and worship .
While Alex, Carla and Elise Hooped and said goodnight to the sun.

Colorado- Keystone Weekend

We arrived in Golden Colorado and were welcomed by Danielle, Kanyon and Lizard. A beautiful group of Michiganders from the Detroit Fire Guild/Theatre Bizzarre/ flo toys circus community. We were blessed with a lovely bed to rest and breath taking views when we awoke surrounded by mountains. Our wonderful hosts took us on a tour of the local town followed by a walk down the frozen river. Carla and I were accompanied by Lizard up to the top of the mesa for sunset. This weekend all came together in the last moments and it turned out beautifully! We are the luckiest girls! and We give thanks and rejoice in the awareness of our good fortune. 

We met up with some friends at a cabin in Breckenridge, and put on a Fire Hoop show! 

The next morning we woke up with the sun, got Moosed! at the Blue Moose breakfast nook, and then headed to KEYSTONE!!! 

WE tore up the slopes at keystone and then had a lovely evening grabbing pizza and overlooking the largest natural ice rink in the USA! The weather was absolutely beautiful and the views were breathtaking. It is a magical thing to be surrounded by such massive mountains and geographical wonders, its cliche by it really does make you feel small and think about the vast hugesness of the world. 

We ADORED spending time with our motley crew! 

And Steve the penguin even came out to play.

Exploring the City Museum

Location: The magical land of the St. Louis City Museum
What a blast! Carla and I had so much fun today climbing and crawling and exploring the many caverns and tunnels and slides at the City Museum.  it was a great way to spend a rainy day!

Large Arch the Larch

Hooped under the arch today, visited animals in one of the largest zoos in the country, did some aerial playing with silks, and gave a backyard fire hoop performance today! St. Louis inspires us... Watching the animals today reconfirmed that animals at play are happy animals.. much like us humans!   Find joy in the movement that our bodies provide for us. Listen to our instincts when it comes to what our bodies and souls really crave the most..movement in and towards a passionate and inspired life. Us girls participate every morning now in what we like the call the 'FUNdamentals."  They are our way of greeting the day in an active and invigorating way.  Spending 15-30 minutes going over an exercise and yoga routine that allows us to strengthen, stretch, and allow fresh oxygen to breathe through our muscles! A great way to wake up and greet the day with intention and drive. As active hula hoopers and dream pursuers, adding some of the fundamentals of fitness into our daily routine is the best way to continue to work towards our performance and fitness goals~~~

WE were also blessed to meet a lovely earth mama, Jen. Who welcomed us into her home,fed us yummy lentil dinner, taught us a few new silk tricks, gave us a can of fuel and sent us on our merry way. We are so grateful for her kindness and hospitality.

Purple Nasty in the Windy City

BAM WABAM! What an amazing and wild adventure this has already been, and we only embarked three days ago! Walkie Talkies have made our time spent driving quite eventful. Would like to send a huge huge thank you out to our good friend Kyle who showered so many blessing upon us :)) Had an epic and unforgettable time in Chicago. Felt so thankful for all our friends who braved the freezing Chi winter weather and came out to truly show that we will never forget our Michigania upbringing. What warm and fuzzy feelings we get from being able to stay so close with these people that came from some of the best days of our lives. Thank you Jeremy Posner for bringing the outrageous game of purple nasty into our lives. Your creativity and inovative mind inspires us to go out and create a full card game in less than 15 minutes.. ..Also thanks Jeremy for iO comedy, laughs all around! Thanks goes out to Mike Perry for being an awesome sauce brother and taking us out on the town, venturing down memory lane with us and providing grooves and travel tunes for the road. And a shout goes out to Dave Newman... WWMD, who am I? Thanks for frushi, and classy barhopping. We were off to a jump start this morning, after discovering that the Prius battery was drained.. Just rolled into St. Louis where we are staying with the beautiful sister of Elise, Adrienne. We are currently sitting in the NAR headquarters of the up and coming cultural revolutionizers. Have some fun planned for this city, but updates to come soon! Stay tuned for picutes that will be up shortly Good luck to our lovely brotherman Scott with his hula hooping and fitness classes, and thank you again for all the delicious and nutritious snacks!!
